Desired Profile :
Bachelors/Masters in Law, minimum 3 year’s experience managing corporate legal matters
Must be licensed to practice as well as registered with relevant bar councils, arbitration panels, law forums & legal associations
Prior exposure or experience dealing with shipping/ maritime law or clientele will be an added advantage
Be entirely responsible for all legal activities and work in conjunction with HOD's
Pursue all litigation, arbitration, civil courts, legal matters, lawsuits, dispute resolutions, copyrights & patenting matters from inception to execution
Manage legal notices & warrants after due diligence & investigation
Update departments of prevailing, changing regulations, corporate governance & liabilities
Drafting & vetting of international agreements & all official internal corporate documents
Aware of employment regulations globally (e.g.: statutory and labor law compliance, NDA, Data breach policy, employment addendum's, etc.)
Overall legal compliance & knowledge of maritime industry globally (e.g.: Charter party agreements, P&I, marine insurance H&M, charters liability insurance, Maritime security, etc.)
